1. Avoid stakes and turf races.
2. In order to qualify, a horse must have been leading at one of the first calls in his last race and within 1 length at of the other first call.
3. Odds must be 4-1 or higher
If tied, use the following angles to compare:
a. Earned higher speed rating in last race.
b. Had faster winner's time in last race.
c. Was entered in higher class in last race.
d. Finished closer to winner in last start.
