1- Don’t play races with fewer than six horses because odds are low.
2- Don’t play 2 year olds.
3- Don’t play fillies and mares against the boys.
4- Don’t bet heavily during the first and last weeks of a meet.
5- Don’t bet on an off track.
6- Don’t bet non-winners of 2 because they lack form.
7- Do bet on consistent horses (wins on average 25%)
8- Do pay attention to jockey and trainer records.
9- Look for track biases.
